Since 1998 Roy Jones, Jr. has been CEO of his independent record label located in Pensacola, FL. Entering the music industry is another way Roy is giving back. As he has been quoted “I want to develop talent right here in Pensacola because there is a lot here.” Seeing that talent and nurturing it is what Royalty Records, formerly, Body Head Entertainment, is all about. Roy has signed artists who are just as hungry as he is to succeed. “Our goal is to make Royalty Records among the elite independent record labels.
It seems that Roy Jones, Jr. has definitely earned his life’s “brass ring.” Giving back that “brass ring” quality is another goal Roy has made a part of his life. Every year in May, Roy hosts a golf tournament for kids. He also makes a point of speaking to America’s youth as often as possible to promote the value of education and a drug free life.
